There’s a solid supply of larger Airbnbs and self-catered houses suitable for groups of 6–16. Properties near the town centre — on or around West Street, Downing Street, and South Street — give easy walking access to bars and restaurants after the session. Most have living rooms large enough to host without rearranging furniture significantly; a standard 5x4m room handles a group of 8–10 comfortably.
Most groups wrap up their afternoon session and head into town within the hour. Castle Street wine bars and pubs along The Borough are the most popular stops — a short walk from most central accommodation. It’s worth pre-booking dinner, particularly if the session ends around 4–5pm and the evening is planned around a 7pm table.
Farnham station is on the South Western Railway line — approximately 55 minutes direct from London Waterloo, around 20 minutes from Guildford. By car, access via the A31 is straightforward from Hampshire, including Alton and Winchester, and the M3 corridor. Residential parking near most rental accommodation is unrestricted on weekends.
A 2pm or 2:30pm start tends to work best — it gives groups time to arrive, settle, and eat beforehand, and finishes with a comfortable gap before evening plans.
